Supporting people around the world in need of humanitarian medical care
The charity concert “Connecting Hope” supports the humanitarian medical activities of Médecins du Monde. Thanks to the generous collaboration of internationally acclaimed pianist Gen Tomuro, this concert marks its fourth edition.
Alongside his performance career in Japan and abroad, Mr. Tomuro has long shown a deep interest in humanitarian medical support. His piano performances, imbued with hope for a world in which everyone can access medical care and live in physical and emotional well-being, have profoundly moved audiences.
Across the world, conflicts and natural disasters continue to occur, forcing increasing numbers of people to flee their homes and become refugees. At the same time, many suffer from discrimination, persecution, and poverty. Médecins du Monde works to ensure that the most vulnerable people can access essential medical care.
Your participation in this charity concert will help protect the lives and health of people waiting for medical care in the midst of humanitarian crises worldwide. We warmly look forward to welcoming you.

Message from Gen Tomuro
|
As a musician, what I can do is bring people together and connect hearts through art. It is a great honor for me to participate in this charity concert organized by Médecins du Monde, which celebrated its 30th anniversary last year. I sincerely hope that this performance will provide a moment where people come together through music and contribute, even in a small way, to greater harmony in our world. |
